Nigerian Postal Codes: Zip or Postal Codes of all States in Nigeria

I have noticed that it is always difficult for people filling  forms online to get the zip codes of their addresses.  It happened to me some years back when I was filling my Google Adsense form as the link provided by Google did not work. I had to use search engine to search for Nigerian postal codes before I could fill the form.

This is not limited to Google Adsense forms.  There are many forms you will fill online that will require your zip or postal code.

I want you to also note that whenever you are asked to enter your Zip code in any form, it means your postal code.  It is only in the US that they use Zip codes.  In Nigeria, it means postal code.


In this post, I will show you how you can easily know the postal code for your address.

To get the postal code for your address, visit http://www.nigeriapostcodes.com.
You'll see a form like the one below:

• Select your state.
•  Select your town, area and street
• Click "get postcode"     

That's all! The postcode will be displaced for you.

NB: If your town is not on the list of towns in the drop down menu, select a nearby town, area and street.  This is not a problem. It is still okay since it is in the same state and the town is close.
