How to take screen shots on your PC

Taking screen shots on laptops or desktops is a task that information marketers should know how to do because at many instances, they will need some screen shots on their laptops/desktops to create information. Unfortunately, many people do not know how to take screen shots on their PCs.
In this post, I will show you two ways by which you can take screen shots on your computer.


 Method 1

  • Open the page or window where you want to take the screen shot and press Function key (Fn) and insert (prt sc) together.This will take the screen shot though you will not notice anything.
  • Open MS Word or Picture manger 
  • Press CTRL + V to paste the image. This will paste the image from the screen shot that you took.

Method 2
This method requires a software called snipping tool  which comes with WINDOWS 7 OS. If you are using windows 7 operating system, you will have it in your computer by default.
  • Click on the start button and select all programs 
  • Select accessories =>snipping tool  
  • Crop out the part of the screen you wish to snap and SAVE.
  • That's all.
