Add Your Own Custom Favicon to Your Blogspot/Blogger Blog

A favicon is a small icon that is associated with a blog/site that is always shown beside the blog or site address on internet browsers. Adding your own Favicon to your blog is a good way of making your blog look more professional. Though I also recommend changing your blogspot address to a custom domain as another way of branding your blog. Today, most websites are recognized by their favicons.




To add your own favicon to your blogger blog, follow the steps below:

  1. Create your own favicon or download it from a website. Make sure the image you use as your favicon has a square size.
  2. Go to Blogger Dashboard > Layout and click on Edit Favicon on the top left side.
  3. Click Browse to upload your image.
  4. Once the image is uploaded, click Save.
Preview your blog and that's all!In case you do not see the favicon immediately, do not bother. It will show up later.
