How to Open A Google Adsense Account

AdSense is an ad serving application run by Google Inc. Google adsense is a free, simple way for website publishers of all sizes to earn money by displaying targeted Google ads on their websites. Many times you would have visited sites with many adverts which have the word “AdChoices” below it or at the side. These are Google adsense. Each time you click on these ads, you help the owner of the site to earn some money. 

You too can be involved in this business and make money from Google adsense. It does not require you being a computer expert. All you need is a guide on how to go about it. If you choose to use a free blog, then you can launch your blog with Google adsense without spending a dime.

Before I go into the step by step guide to open a Google adsense account, I want to let you know that this post is for those who already have a website or blog. If you do not have a blog of your own, you can read my post on how to create a free blog with blogger.com. It is free.

Now the step by step guide.

Step 1:

 Visit www.google.com/adsense  and sign in with your Google account. 

Step 2 : 

A form will be opened for you to fill. Take your time to fill the form, especially in the area of "PAYEE NAME".  You cannot change or edit your payee name once form is submitted.

Once you are done, click “submit”. Do not forget to read Google adsense policies, terms and conditions before submitting.

Step 3:

 Once you have submitted your AdSense application and have your email address verified, it will take 2-3 days for the Google Adsense Team to complete their review on your application. This however, may not be the case, as they receive volumes of applications from around the world, and so may take them five working days or more to get back to you.

Step 4: 

Always check your e-mail box for the verification e mail. Once you have been verified by Google, you can then revisit www.google.com/adsense and sign in with your log in details and get codes for your web site.
